As Easy as 1-2-3 for TRF416
at LRP Touring Masters!

From March 28th-30th, the LRP Touring Car Masters was held at Eppelheim, Germany and once again Tamiya Racing Factory (TRF) was there in the heat of the action. When the dust settled, TRF driver Marc Rheinard, who was the top qualifier, drove his TRF416 to a commanding victory. With Jilles Groskamp taking 2nd place and Viktor Wilck finishing 3rd, TRF once again came away with a clean sweep of the podium. Following the 1-2-3 finish at the 2nd Round of the Euro Touring Series, the team was in terrific form. The Masters Class featured the 110 of top drivers from works teams from all the major manufacturers, and TRF took to the field with 5 drivers: Marc, Jilles, Viktor, Hupo, and Kiyokazu Suzuki. Using their ETS settings as a base, Jilles, Hupo, and Kiyo worked to refine the settings while Marc and Viktor tested them on the track. There were 4 rounds of qualifying, and Marc was 3rd fastest during Round 1, but upped the tempo to finish with the top qualifying times in subsequent rounds. Viktor and Jilles qualified 2nd and 3rd respectively as TRF locked down the top 3 qualifying positions. The A-Main final consisted of 3 rounds, and Marc drove to dominating wins in Round 1 and Round 2 to secure his victory. Viktor had 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes to take 3rd place overall while Jilles had 3rd, 3rd, and 1st place finishes to come back and take 2nd place overall.
